A Pleasant Morning

I had a good time for once this morning. My roommate had invited me out for breakfast (thought all I had was some tea), and when I arrived, we had quite the conversation. Apparently, I was right: this hotel is an inter-dimensional gateway of sorts, something the Doctor or perhaps even the Occuria cooked up.

Either way, I don't know how to go about this now- if we do get out, will we still even be in our own universe? Or will we be stuck in someone else's, having to return countless times until we find the right exit? And that's only if we can find an exit to the damned hotel...

The search continues, I suppose.

Thank you for the pleasant time this morning, Buffy. I do hope the rest of the guests are as kind as you were.

Is the hotel always so unstable?

I daresay, this is something I'd expect from the good Doctor. At least my room mate was nice... though, I didn't quite see her. So I suppose she was nice.

Fran, if you can hear me, tomorrow I think we ought meet in the food court. Say, around lunch. Perhaps think of an escape.

That was.... well, Fran, I think we'll keep that to ourselves.

Who might I be rooming with today...?

Well, nevermind the entertainment.

It seems my good partner Fran has been trapped here as well. This promises to increase the chance of enjoyment during my stay here. Especially if she keeps tearing up the faculty. Priceless.

And I forgot to bring entertainment...

Well, this is quite a conundrum I've gotten myself into. The Tojours Hotel, the one that invited me for a luxurious, free stay? Apparently the invitation was quite literal when it used the word 'stay'.

I'm stuck inside this hotel. There is no exit, or so I have been told. So far, they weren't lying. The main entrance seems locked, none of the windows open, et cetera, et cetera. I've even tried blasting them open; they weren't lying when they told me they built this with an indestructible material, as well.

Looks like I'll have to make myself comfortable during my 'stay' at Tojours.

They gave me something called a 'gadgit', or something to that effect. Apparently, it is to keep in communication with the many other guests, which leads me to wonder who else could have been sucked into this fiendish scheme.

Shortly after I obtained the 'gadgit', it began to ring unpleasantly. Not knowing what to do, I merely let it ring, which it did... for a good minute. As it ceased, one of the 'staff' (which I had later discerned to be robotic) informed I was supposed to answer that, and followed with a small explanation of the device.

Thanks. I could have used such information when I received it.

Apparently, a girl named Olivia left me a 'voice mail' message, offering aid. When I find her, I must be sure to give her thanks.

Slightly bummed, for lack of a better word, I brought my things up to my room, which the 'guests' were given a choice of today, which leads me to assume we are assigned different rooms daily. Something else the receptionist forgot to tell me; brilliant. Well, I decided on the fifth floor, room 77: the entire floor seems sky themed- perfect for a sky pirate such as myself. After all, even a caged bird enjoys having wings.

Well, I'm off to search for any other possible exits. First stop: back to the First Floor.

Basic Character Information

NAME: Ffamran Mid Bunansa, A.K.A.: Balthier
FANDOM: Final Fantasy XII
AGE AND BIRTHDAY: 22, Birthday unknown
GENDER: Male
SEXUALITY: Heterosexual
APPEARANCE: Short, brown hair, brownish-hazel eyes, about 6'0". Wears a long-sleeve white shirt, covered by a leather vest with intricate gold designs. Also wears a pair of brown leather pants, two gold-buckeled leather belts on his hips, finishing the attire with some slightly heel-less leather boots. Can be seen here.
PERSONALITY: Balthier is a calm and collected man; the type you'd expect to be a master at chess, he plans out his next move ahead of time- something few pirates can say, if any at all. Witty to a fault, he considers himself the 'leading man', which, in essence, lets him believe he is invincible. Because as we all know, the leading man never dies.
